since the song Origin of Love freely adapts the speech of Aristophanes from Plato's symposium, i think you'll all enjoy this other take on it, an 8-minute French cartoon with English subtitles:

    I remember my Mom telling me this story when I was a kid - and I always thought it was just the saddest story. I had never heard the bit about the genitals though. And me being me, it really makes me wonder if this isn't what really happened to us.

    Thanks for this one, I really enjoyed it.
